We, EURO Kartensysteme GmbH (EKS), are a joint venture of German banks and Sparkassen. We perform central tasks in the girocard system as the operational scheme manager and other tasks in cashless payment services on their behalf. Fully qualified lawyer with a focus on payment transaction law (m/f/d)
you will make an important contribution to shaping the future of payment in Germany, because you can create and influence it at EURO Kartensysteme GmbH (EKS).
WHAT AWAITS YOU
- You will be responsible for the independent supervision of payment transaction law issues, including payment services law, payment services supervisory law, data protection law and the associated contract law (including ZAG, PSD2, PSD3)
- You actively contribute to the product development of new girocard functions and support the project team as an expert on legal issues
- In a multilateral environment, you coordinate and conduct contract negotiations with our stakeholders
- You observe and analyze new or amended legal frameworks, primarily in the area of payment services and data protection law.
- You will be responsible for the expansion and further development of our compliance management system, including the design and implementation of internal training courses
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- You are a fully qualified lawyer and have professional experience (>5 years), preferably with a law firm specializing in banking and capital market law or in the banking or financial sector
- You have a flair for technical and economic interrelationships
- You are eager to learn and payment services keen payment services legal and technical developments relating to payment services
- You are structured, have an entrepreneurial mindset and are a strong and persuasive communicator
- Your working style is independent, but at the same time you are team-oriented and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues
- Excellent German and good English skills are required
